In Search of Light
In search of light,
I lay haunted the whole night..
Traveling in a nameless ride,
I haunt the nagging, nameless vibe.
I stand against the royal might;
the start of which is end of sight-
And confronted the moon's fading bright,
I hear myself some questions cried:
"Where belonged my wounded sprite?
Oh! where did my lost love reside?"
"These stars up that height,
are living in peace, in blooming delight!
And while I inhabit dark vacancies,
how dare they dance as white?"
"Why did they not fall,
Have they no weight of contrite?"
Then, their light kiss my eyes,
My soul sparks as a dynamite
and yet,
my eternal darkness shrieks inside:
"Shut down the doors of plight
for I have remorse to hold,
for You have scars to hide!"
The black before was the holy knight;
kept me blinded, protected but tied!
Now I stay;
I envy more the stars of night!
They shine through the dark despite,
And didn't shake the blissful quite.
These stars smiled upon my cold valleys,
And steered the dark off it's pride!
They sparkled upon my lonely cores,
So, I Found the light,
within the walls of night..
