Immortal Love

Where deep crimson waters met the shallow rocks, Stinging spray from the sea stung her soft green eyes. She sat, cold on the sand, obliviously - Looking for something that no longer was there. "Why do you not come when I call you this night?" She cried into the wind, howling so soulfully. "You promised you'd return if I came to this rock: I was tempted but won over temptation - I lay my heart at your altar - I am yours." As the ocean roared she saw an immense wave. It came to her, beckoning her in its fury, and A great pyramid rose up out of the sea, And flames issued from its mouth towards the far shore. Dumbfounded, she rose and walked towards the giant wave; It engulfed her in its arms of desire Holding her secure in its deadly embrace. The sea wrapped her in the fury of its love, and The goddess became as one with the deep sea.
