I'M Home

The sun Illuminates Strenuous Warmth Conquering A Building with barren structures Green lush intertwining with Shutters and bricks The Cool breeze enrapturing The body to a standstill Pieces of preserved memories Castrated in time Never touched Mahogany interiors Wooden tiled floors The stepping-stones to a new room To an old memory The red rusted tin shed Made by hand Towered by the Ethereal fig tree By the vacant chicken coop Departed memories Ascending The ribs The chest The heart Salty Tears stream Down my face I’m home
