If Only She Saw What I Saw
before time invented beauty,
she lay,
stunning and exquisite-
words came like the zephyr wind
and the breeze filled her soul with
brilliant ballades
her quill filled her parchment as
the essence of her pain became
a beacon for twilit shadows;
she held innocence that
could not be written-
verses upon verses could only be sung
by divinity,
rhymes and poetics could only be written
from grief and loss
now i see her lay there,
glasses swooping down her nose;
messy hair
manic eyes,
as she writes intensely from a depth so
deep even the gods can't comprehend
for she is still STUNNING and EXQUISITE to me...
longing to be free,
from death’s debris
