If I Am Not Like You

If I am not like you, you have been taught to fear me. I have touched many the wrong way, I have touched many the right way. When the duality of the spirit within us all, can find a way to replace fear with understanding, forgiveness, and the will to embrace without hesitation, a door might be opened. Fear can then be internally self correcting, instead of outbound, producing walls and divisions, no one seems to have time, or the will to try to bring down. If fear doesn’t escape each of us so easily, families again can unify despite past differences, near or far, neighbors can begin to look at each other, not in judgement, but as part of one, just not yet understood. No longer feared because different.
