I'D Rather Sit Here and Write

The world has been covered in a blanket of white The snow so deep there is no car in sight The shovel should be out to start this fight Yet I think I would rather sit here and write.

LOL Alesia, we are having a rough winter aren't we. We are to get three days of ice and snow come Friday after just receiving a foot of snow and let me tell you us Missouri folk are not use to all this below 0 weather:)

Janet, oh I know the feeling, we are in a deep freeze in my part of Canada, travel cancelled, people told to stay home, it is not nice, so I am totally with you on the stay home and write and thanks for visiting my poetry
