I Want To Live
I Want to Live
I was conceived in my mothers womb,
She doesn’t want me, this is my tomb.
Why would she want to kill me?
When will she hear my plea?
I feel so useless, so all alone,
Where has my mothers compassion gone?
I can be loved by someone, somewhere,
Doesn’t anyone out there really care?
Please, Mom, please give me my birth,
Let me be a part of the humans on earth.
I promise I’ll be good, if you’ll only let me live,
Please don’t abort me; I have lots of love to give.
The Supreme Court has ruled that I must die,
They won’t let me live just to see the blue sky.
God, I beg of you for the children yet to be,
Lord, change the hearts of humans to set the children free.
