I Miss You Still

I miss you more than you’ll ever know, Now that you've gone where I can’t go; You hurt me more than you ever knew, When you turned your back and said we’re through; I keep a piece of you hidden deep, But your memory is all I keep; Stolen kisses in the night, Fire lit and burning bright; Desire for you, I shouldn't have felt, But I deal with the hand that I’ve been dealt; So I say goodbye and let you go, But I love you more than you’ll ever know.

What a lovely poem of longing. The emotions pour from these words. Nicely done.

I'm surprised there aren't any responsess to this poem yet. It's one of the best ones I've read on here. This is so very beautifully expressed. I really love it. :) Faith
