I Can'T Wait For Christmas

I can’t wait for Christmas morn, when sis and I sneak down the stairs. This wonderful day Jesus was born, and the day I get my teddy bears. What will await us under the tree? some more surprises I believe. A doll for you and a bike for me, I wonder; what will dear Santa leave. I can’t wait for Christmas day, what a joyous time it will be. Eight reindeer towing a sleigh, and Santa stuck in my chimney. What a surprise for Mom and Dad, I just can’t wait for them to see. I hope it doesn’t make them mad, I got them, a live snake, for me. Copyright © 2007 By Caryl S. Muzzey

LOL Really enjoyed the humor inthe last line, Caryl. A fun poem for the holidays. So many children lie awake listening for reindeer on the roof. So nice to see you posting again. Love, Carolyn
