I Am The Wind
I Am The Wind
I am a force of Mother Nature, sent to blow the cobwebs from your minds,
I am a shackled prisoner of warmth and cold, surveying the empyrean skies.
I am without tears, but not heart, as I dalliance around the sun, in loving admiration.
I am harnessed by the seas and skies, but for some bring only tears and devastation.
I am dreams past of Egyptian pharaohs, timeless in pyramids laid to rest and hide,
I am the hand that caressed the sands, to preserve those in dignity where they reside.
I am the vanes spinning in all directions, high above the gaze of church steeples.
I am the sorrowful slayer of souls who passes through the eye of God's needle.
I am the love that drives you forward, and the brake that grips caution's hands.
I am the breath carrying wings to safety, I am the brush that sweeps life's sands.
I am a pilgrim for all seasons, I am transilient, a tour de force of life's extremes.
I am not light, nor shadow, but the Wind that tilts the balance within your dreams.
