I Am Heart Whisperer Alone I lay here in my room swallowed by the night. The quiet whispers in my ears and says it's time to write. A broken heart calls out somewhere, somehow I hear their cries. Another soul fell victim to another lovers lies. I feel the anguish in the wind my face turned toward the wall. I try to block it out again but still I hear the call. Of broken dreams and promises that someone didn't keep. I beg the night not me, not now I need to get some sleep. Relentlessly it pulls at me until I rise once more. I turn to face the broken hearts all lined up at my door. I tell them it will be okay, I listen one by one. Trying to comfort each of them before the night is done.
