I Am Beautiful

I am Beautiful no matter what anybody sees. I am Beautiful no matter what anybody says. I am beautiful no matter how anybody treats me. I am beautiful people have tried to break me with their lies. I am beautiful people have tried to break me with their fist. I am beautiful people have taken my virginity from me at an early age. I am beautiful even though my freedom has been taken from me more than once. I am beautiful even though sometimes I gave my power and freedom away. I am beautiful even though I have been abused and have abused myself. I am beautiful because my scars and survival make me so. I am beautiful because I have a story to share. I am beautiful and my weakness makes me strong in Christ. I am beautiful because I am loved by Christ. I am beautiful because I am still standing. I am beautiful because I've learned from my mistakes. I am beautiful because God makes no mistakes. I am beautiful because I am still learning and growing. I am beautiful because I have something to say and it matters. I am beautiful because I have something to contribute to the world. No matter if my contribution to the world is big or small it matters. I am beautiful because I am a work in progress and I need not be in distress. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the only beholder that really counts is Christ. Tell yourself you are beautiful and that you matter until you believe it.
