Hummingbirds
I stumbled on a hummingbird nest this spring quite by accident. As I watched one of the parent birds flew to the nest. Three hungry mouths opened to receive food from the parent.
The hummingbird disappeared quickly in the early morning dawn.
fine sunlight
dappling the lush foliage
of vines and limbs
around and in the nest
small green feathers dot the ground
