Hourglass
As the hourglass grains of our life do fall
A million more days like the last your only request
For you i'd spend those days in the desert collecting them all
Without water, food or affection, I would do my best
Seems such a pleasant task to me should befall
It's only the Clear Blue Sky to remind me when I take rest
The scorching truth of your beauty to which I crawl
The cool water of the Oasis to which the sun gives rise
My thoughts were all of this, from one of your eyes
Finally in your arms my hands upon your hips
I found life's true beauty resting upon your lips
