Hope Deffered
In shadows deep, where dreams retreat, Hope deferred, a heart's defeat.
A whispered promise, lost in mist,
In longing's grip, where souls persist.
Each fleeting glimpse, a flicker wanes,
Hope's ember dims, in silent chains.
Yet still it lingers, in the dark,
A silent plea, an unseen spark.
Through barren fields, where flowers fade,
Hope deferred, in shadows laid.
But in the hush, where silence reigns,
Hope's gentle voice, still softly strains.
For in the depths, where sorrows dwell,
Hope endures, a timeless spell.
Though trials test, and tears may fall,
Hope's steadfast light, outshines them all.
So hold on tight, when all seems lost,
For hope deferred, shall bear the cost.
In time, it blooms, like morning dew,
Hope's sweet embrace, forever true.
With every beat, a longing sigh,
Hope's tender touch, can heal the sky.
So let it rise, from depths untold,
Hope deferred, a tale yet bold.
