Honor To the Flag
Theres a flag that hangs on my wall,
It's seen many wars but refuses to fall,
This flag is torn and faded is the red, white and blue,
But the places it's seen and the places it's flew,
The symbol of freedom in the war of the blue and the gray,
The symbol of fear when remembered on D-day,
The symbol of honor when put on a grave,
The symbol of hope to a forgotten slave,
The blood that was shed so she would fly higher,
The shame it is showed when set on fire,
I love that ole flag in it's boldness and shine,
I'll never get rid of that ole flag of mine.
