Honest Heart
Don't just conjure up!
Don't pretend to drink the cup.
You don't need to be accepted,
Be enjoyed, admired nor invested.
The lie will rob your peace.
The forcing put YOU on lease,
Never to buy back the real joy.
Explode into real dancing,
In freedom; not just prancing.
To make others laugh can mire
The gentle, humble soul,
Who regards God to keep him whole.
Wax eloquent in your speech.
Prompted from honesty to teach
Lead by your heart.
The end being more valid than the start.
Never give up looking to Him
See Love's smile to keep from sin
Matters not if you're healed or thin,
Just be healthy; sharp as a pin!
In your honest heart;
That's where it all starts.
