Honest Conversation
Honest Conversation
Have you ever sat down and had an honest conversation with yourself?
Have you ever chosen doing the right thing over money and wealth?
Have you ever made personal sacrifices for somebody else?
Have you ever stood third in line behind your children and spouse?
These are the decisions in life that need to be made,
For there is no going back with each turn of the page.
True happiness is really the only accurate gauge,
And the only relevant measure to look back on as we age.
I have had such a talk and I have made up my mind,
That I will treasure each moment with all that I call mine.
For there is no greater success in which I can find,
Then the nurturing of my family by spending the time.
