Hollow
Its simply amazing
the way you move your lips
forming words
which fly off
glibly
off your tongue
for a purpose
best known to you
Its simply amazing
the way your wicked mouth
slanders
the souls of your friends and foes alike
while mouthing
sweet nothings in my ear
again for a purpose best known to you alone.
How vacuous is your smile
as your eyes betray
deeper meanings
which are at once sublime
and hollow
beyond words
beyond meaning.
