Hi Bill, sounds like serenity on the slopes. My older brother and sister-in-law were avid skiers. Then they got transferred to Florida years ago and remain Floridians, so they don't do much skiing anymore. Lovely wintry write! Peace and blessings ~

Hi my friend Bill, is this your family, how beautiful, how lovely and how happy you all look - it also looks like you are having a whole lot of fun. the snow looks lovely, so jealous, we have had nothing but rain for the past two week but not complaining, our dams need to fill up. However, Natal a province by the sea is annually hit bad by rains and floods an loss of lives. I can't help but feel for the homeless in moments like this, so sad, Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Not my family, but we had a Time-Share at Vail/ Beaver Creek for a few years, and it was a lot of fun. It's been in the teens here for the last week with wind chill below zero Fahrenheit. Sorry to hear about the flooding and casualties. I agree, when the weather gets extreme, I do pray for the homeless. Winter in general is a terrible time to be without adequate shelter. We only get snow a few times a year here in our part of Texas, usually only an inch or snow. It's nice to see falling, but can be a mess to drive in. Have a great 2024, my friend. Hugs, Bill

I have only been snow skiing once. I was very young, very stupid, and very drunk. The downfall of skiing is that it requires you to be outside in the winter.

When we owned a Travel Agency, Sara and I decided to learn to ski. Sara (34) and Me (41). I loved it, but Sara liked going to the ski lodges and relaxing. She did ski a little, but never got comfortable on skies. Thanks for the visits, my friend. Have a pleasant evening. Bill

So lively and beautiful this is, i love the way you’ve written this senryu. Ive tried skiing before , but i must say im terrible at it, my sister is better at skiing. I love the way this senryu flows in such a picturesque manner as well as the picture you’ve used here is so fitting for the poem, pleasure always reading your work.
