Jack, now this has an imagery, I won't call beautiful..LOL :-) I had staples once,, and the scar they leave is not pretty.. I hope he survived the arc trace... enjoyed the haiku...Linda

He did survive, and is doing well, I think. I see him around town occasionally. I've had staples a couple of times, also the old fashioned stitches. Stitches are far worse, and leave a very weird scar - rows of white dots. I'll take staples any time. Of course, I'd rather avoid the entire business... Jack
