Great Escape
A little thatched cottage tucked away.
Happy memories from happy days.
Full of atmosphere and charm.
Children playing safe from harm.
Warm and cozy inside thick walls.
Outside let the blizzard storm.
Bog oak beams, flax and turf.
Kettle singing on the hearth.
On quiet nights clear skies.
No sound of traffic or passers by.
Deep sleep in a safe haven.
In Fanad this little piece of heaven.
