Gray Cat

Here I am, Watching outside the window The snow covered the lawn High above the head Where are the small birds? Jumped from branches to branches Swapped their songs in the breeze Where are the green leaves? Left the bald-headed trees freeze. So sad to be alone, My coat-color sky hides the sunlight Where is the passersby? The sidewalks remain empty Where are the cars? The street is not noisy Where are the roses? Appeal the butterflies and bees. Well! Well! Well! It’s Mother Nature! I can do anything, Like Man, wait for the next spring.

Very nice verse! I love the questioning wonder in the cat's search for spring. Linda
