Gossip here, gossip there - best to steer clear.
If you do not, you can pay for it quite dear.
This applies if you're in the west or east,
For you don't want a brittle bug for feast.
Gossip here, gossip there - best not to do.
Doing so can end with more than you can chew.
This applies if you're in the north or south,
For a fly does not enter a closed mouth.
