Goodbye, I Never Made It

You said how my dimples took you there You said you couldn't wait to watch me smile You loved my spice You loved my perfume The newborn hours were the best I felt your warmth I was enticed by your dots I wanted to follow them to a garden that flowers forever The love heaven felt eternal You loved the smell of cocoa butter Your sweetest words crowned me I was queen, and you were my king That's how big you were in my heart and mind Until after a long time, i saw you as what i didn't want Scars wouldn't let me breathe I was no longer naive, atleast not as much It hurt more than anything else My heart was new to that kind of trauma First love is a deep diver First love can be a wild fire
