God's Seed

Imagine a world without any God, could we then spare the child without using the rod? Would peace come to the world, there'd be no one to blame for all of the wars that are fought in his name! If God's the excuse for everything good, then why are his subjects hands covered in blood? Though God may bring comfort when in times of need, misery and suffering spring forth from God’s seed! Essentially 3 religions all share the same God with slight variations to their beliefs. However the wars that have stemmed from those religions are substantial. Be it the crusades or Protestants vs. Catholic, Sunni vs Shi-ite or Judaism vs Christianity and/or vs. Islam. Your poem is bang on, in that man twists the religion to his own devices.

Well written commentary, I understand your perspective, respect your point of view. Just wanted to point out that "the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one" 1John 5:19. The children of the wicked one are the ones who kill and destroy.1John3:10-12. God's seed and the Devils seed are at war have been for thousands of years. God is love. Nicely written though!

My point is that God is claimed to have made man in his own image, therefore we are all from God's seed? Genesis1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Thanks for your viewpoint and comments. I personally believe that both Good and Evil are living things whatever name you give to them and exist throughout all mankind.....Ivor
