Over the years, like you or presumally most of you, I've had many friends. Most have come and gone or simply just went their own ways and directions. But still to this day, I still hang out with some of my very first friends. Just last night, a group of us went to a local bar to watch our friends play and celebrate their twenty year anniversary of playing in a band together. Most of my friends who were there were relatively new friends. When I say relatively new, I mean friends that I had met within the last 20-30 years or so. But as usual, some of my old-time friends were there as well. My dearest friend, my very first friend and I, reminisced about some of our stories and times we've been through together. Being friends for sixty years, we had many stories to think back on. After the band stopping playing at about 1:00am, and after we both downed 4-5 beers, we toasted to our friendship with a shot of tequila. "To growing old together" No worries friends, our wives drove home. :)
