Friendships Demise

Oh, shed no tear for friendships last gasp. When the fangs, finally show, a poisonous asp! Run for your life, head for the highest hill. The innocent acting asp, on your tail for a tasty kill. Friends can be asps, don’t you know? As deadly as frostbite on a frozen toe! They despised gullible you, having such fun. You thought them sincere, you are a dumb one! Worse, you wrote sweet, loving tributes to them? The asp, chortling with laughter like an old hen. And now left with few friends, you trusting,old fool. While the asps, eyes shine, laughing at gullible….. you! 9/20/2022 ~1~

Hi Pangie...can relate to your poem... been there done that...takes a while for some to show their true colours. It disappoints and hurts at first but in time you realise you are better off without them in your life and they are not worthy of the friendship and kindness you have to offer...."their loss" Pangie! Hi Deb, thank you for sharing your views and experience! I think these DRIFTERS could at least tell you the reasons they want nothing to do with you. Especially when you have special nicknames for one anther. This has happened to me onLy in online relationships. My daughter warns me about online relationshipsespecially. Most are excellent, Deb! Pangie, I am sorry to read that you have suffered a betrayal. When this sort of thing happens we blame ourselves for being trusting. Don’t. I believe it is better, in many cases to risk being hurt than to turn suspicious and cynical. You keep being you and God will take care of the rest :) ps

P.S… I love your philology…we are in sync on this one, besides, the loser is the friend who stabbed you. Sure it hurts! And so what! It takes a small heart to emotionally kill another. A new friend is always there with a big heart. Who needs liars for friends? Nobody. Being a believer..I don’t feel a loss. Just know it takes an inner illness beyond me,to be vicious. A pretty face cannot hide an ugly soul. Like TS of phonies in the world?. Let’s hand in…and not be one of them! Hugs, Pangie xx

Yes, the asps are there. My daughter keeps warning me.especially about online relationships, hint! No charge. Anyone who says online “I am your friend, for life?” Poison signal! A few trustable friends do, for me. I never would trust folliwerers as friends. They are both different animals, though, I guess they can, be both. Just be on guard. Regards to your sister. Losing a close. friend for me,is so similar to death. True, God never abandons us. He is the salve for pain. Hugs, Pamgie xx

Such a sensitive soul you are, wow! Betrayal always shocks me, but one learns. There are usually signs, that I am blind to or ignore. But, the world is chock full of great, loving and true souls.and yes, the others, too. The thing is, Michael, to move on, keep growing, keep loving. Let go of the past. True Arlo…I am far too trusting. I know this. I shan’t die, because I am not a social butterfly who mst have daily kisses. I prefer being me, than pretending I love everyone.
