Freed At Last
Locked in his cell
locked out of life
He'd left behind
a son and a wife
What good their hopes
their plans, their dreams
in a cage for 7 to 21 years
exchanged hope for schemes...
A visitor for you, the guard said
His wife there with her new fiance
At the sight, he clutched his heart, dead
Warden sighed ~ He'd freed up a bed
