Freddy Poucher

I heard of Freddy Poucher When I was just a kid Although I never met him I knew everything he did Freddy Poucher was the boy That everybody knew And everything that Freddy did You did not want to do He was the boy who went to swim When lunch was done at camp Because he didn’t wait long enough He got a stomach cramp He was the boy who ran with sticks A thing you should not try He tripped and fell and gave a yell And almost lost his eye He was the boy that played with fire Behind the football stand He did learn that matches burn And almost lost his hand He was the boy that climbed the tree Down at the apple farm The branch was old and didn't hold He almost broke his arm He was the boy who stood on chairs Which never would be fine The old chair toppled over And he almost broke his spine So if you want to do something That maybe isn’t smart Remember Freddy Poucher And you’ll save a body part
