Fragrance
"Fragrance"
The fragrance of the flowers, my attention they do hold,
These were her favorites and they were precious like gold!
When I was to see her I'd get the freshest bouquet,
for I knew that these would bring a sparkle to her day!
For flowers are like special gems given from the heart.
They too bloom, as does love, for both are works of art!
In time though the fragrance of the flower did fade,
and the vibrant colors became a completely different shade!
A once blooming love remembered by fragrant scent
as off to go see her, on my way I went!
What began with such an aromatic bouquet scent,
is now another sonnet of "The Love I Lost" lament!
