For Caoimhe

Dearest darling Godchild you have my curse. You are suffering now and at your worst. I know your pain so well my child. Putting on a happy face and cheery smile. Precious you will get well too. I got the help I needed, so will you. Be patient and to yourself be kind. You're loved so much by me and mine. Trust me, all will work out fine.xx 21/07/2018.

This is a beast I fight daily, and passed to my kids, (and it seems we are legion), but it is comfort knowing others understand ... the dark arms reach for me, but poetry and music are my shield and sword. I will keep you both in my prayers and thoughts ... such a wonderfully empathetic and sweet write, Jean - just beautiful. Blessings! <3

Definitely genetic Greg. My own daughter suffers from OCD although thankfully it's not severe. But that abyss? I have looked over the edge and know it well. As we say in Ireland "God between us and all harm." Warmest wishes and a fond embrace I send you across the wild Atlantic this evening.

This is so sweet. This must be a worrisome curse of the health? Hope it all turns out well.

Depression Andrea. Not the curse of modern age, but more among young people now that ever.

Hi Daniel. This one is for Silent's latest contest. Every village in Ireland has a festival in summer and I have been out dancing. Next weekend my sister and I take the stage at home for a few songs in memory of our father, The Music Man. So it's all go! Caoimhe is her daughter. Hope all is well with you.
