First Tooth
Got my first tooth today,
look at him smile they all say.
He's only six months and a day,
love how he's grinning that way.
Lost my last tooth today
a dentist pulled it away.
Sixty years passed by my way
but I still try to smile every day.
This is surely how life’s days are won
in loving and living with fun.
The years pass me by but again I will try,
to smile with new teeth on my gum.
