Filtered Vision

I can't get the image of her out of my mind Her sweeping fringe covering her eyes that are unfathomably green My lungs burst with sadness and desperation Fish circle me like death Eyes that watch Ears that listen Mouths that scream Her her HER I scream and water passes through my black lifeless lips
