Feeling

The partnership is over, we have gone our separate ways. One of us has left; the other battles through the days. All those times together for more than sixteen years, hold well-set memories; the vision never disappears. The pleasure you gave me, and to many others too, is why your picture on our wall is to remind us all that you, will never be forgotten, from the day our sadness grew, knowing that the end was nigh, and there’s nothing we could do. I know that your soul now free, still watches our front door, and even though our visitors, can’t hear you barking any more, they feel there’s someone missing as we do every single day, yet knowing life must still go on, this feeling never goes away.

Your "Feeling" is a lovely/powerful write. Sorry for your loss. Good memories are the best kind. Have you read about the Rainbow Bridge story??? You can find it on the web. It is about our animals when they die. Hope you will enjoy it. Have a blessed day/week.............

I know your pain Linsay. When we lost our beloved and faithful dog, I couldn't go into our back yard for quite a while, not to see him there broke my heart. May you find comfort in the sweet memories of your devoted friend. So many of us can relate to your heartache. God bless you and your family Lindsey, I'm so sorry for your loss. ~BJ

It is so hard to lose a pet and a long time to get over them if we ever do. Just smile at all the times you had together and the joy they brought to all of you. love phyl

Hello Phyllis ... in these times with especially a cat or a dog, we tend to spoil them to their every wish, so it becomes painful when we lose them - thank you Phyllis - Lindsay

Grieving leaves us wanting to see and hear and our furbabies are missed.

We all have contracts dear Laurie both humans and pets and when that contract is over, we need to follow the rules home, but that doesn't mean they leave us alone, they follow us everywhere we go with their energy and their spirit. Every time we close our eyes and see them, they open theirs and smile, love you xo

I feel and understand your sadness and that your much loved pet will never be forgotten, we love all our pets, but sometime there is a stronger bond with one of them during our lifetime. It happened to me - we lost Coco to Leukemia, she was three and a half years old, a brown lab with liquid green eyes, we adored each other. When she died I was devastated and to this day I cry. I have her photo on my desk. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
