Every Tiny Little Thing
Life sure seems long and perilous
Yet, so quick is the journey
Decisions upon decisions, about
Every...Tiny... Little...Thing!
Meaningless are most, they really are...Or
Were they?
Sometime. Somewhere. Somehow.
Every...Tiny...Little...Thing
Counts for something, now!
***
It truly is an art! Moving on from the past
Letting go of little things, not wondering "if" I had
Would my life be better somehow?
If now?
Or worse...
If then?
Would I go back and do it all over again?!
No way! Not a chance!
I'll take my credit, for time served!
With the experiences intact, the lessons I've learned
My lifetime of memories, well-preserved
To continue on this unknown path
Hopefully...Undisturbed
Because maybe, if I changed one...Tiny...Little...Thing
A time, a place...A moment
I would be lost somehow, I would lose something...
An integral part of me, by creating a different path
Putting me on a road I might soon regret...And forget
Every...Tiny...Little...Thing
I could've had
Sometimes; Tiny little things...Take up the most room, in your heart.
