'every Fiber'

The rest of the world look at you They see your face They look at what you have They assume you have it all While in the quiet spaces Amidst the hustle of life Your soul silently cries out To be understood Silently long for that assurance That they won’t judge you For the tumult you sometimes feel Whilst displaying calm When your mind is in a hundred places at once Stop trying to ascertain how people feel about you Just make sure you acknowledge every fiber of your being for what it is

Aknowledge every fiber of your being for what it is. Excellent Wilma. That's the very reason it's so important to, as Socrates once said "know thyself". Enjoyed your poems today.

So easy to judge, but unless you have walked in a person's shoes there is no way for you to understand what they are going through. Your poem shares this reality beautifully Wilma. : )

Power to inner truth, Wilma. Great introspection w/strong affirmation of how to gain self-worth. Transcendent wisdom. Cerebral poetry. Love always, sista.
