Epiphany

Some time ago, on a somber day, I suddenly sensed a channel through which I could swim to the sea— the grand, radiant, infinite sea, promising purpose and pleasure and brimming with love and life. Pedestrian pebbles and roiling rain now threaten to flood the entrance, eroding this bright epiphany, but I have mapped the sacred site, and my fins, stored and suspended, are starting to bend unbidden.

Thanks, Arturo. Yeah, I'm finally swimming. It helps to be retired and have the time to really follow one's "calling." Appreciate your comment.
