Enlivened
Enlivened, in the very moments
pressed in right before dawn
before first light brushes
her gentle kiss
across the palettte
of every beautiful colour
that is you
I whisper to the morning
awaking her
to senses sedated
within the night
the good
the warmth
beholding to my touch
I brush back the darkness
and I'm enlightened
by the day
and the caresses carried
deep inside of you
