Enchanted Garden
Every time I
come near
you I
hear
the screech of a heavy
wooden
door halting
open
So I
turn and
meet your
eyes falling
captivated by your muddy
depth
In you I
discover a bounty
of wonders - hidden,
sheltered, fiercely
protected - so that
nothing
will ever get
wasted
And when I
look
around and find all
sorts of juicy
fruit, polished
gems, sturdy
weapons and precious
garments for me to
get enthralled with all
I
want is the finest of
them all, your
heart
