Elapsed Gime
Today was yesterday, tomorrow will be today
I’m somewhat mixed up to what I should say,
You see the clock is reversing the time
So anything I do say is not going to rhyme.
Everything I can do was done the day before
Those that I can’t do aren’t there anymore,
What was written to do will wait till tomorrow
But then that won’t be, as yesterday will follow.
The here and now begins to exemplify confusion
Time here does exist but only in my delusion,
How can that time go by so fast?
Things not done today just won’t last.
Where did that time go when I was swift?
My mind elapsed, got caught in the drift,
I was so keen and really much wiser
I forgot I’m using batteries from energizer.
