Early Winter Snow 2

TANKA (American Style) white powdery flakes flutter down like fairy wings early winter snow softer than a feather's touch kiss the grass then fade away (Japanese Style) downy snowflakes feathery touches trace my eyelids brush my lips fairy kisses on my hair winter delight Note: Rules require no punctuation, no title. I am a beginner in writing Haiku and/or Tanka in the Japanese style.

Thank you, David. I am still learning how to write poems in Japanese style. I have a good mentor in our local poetry group, who grew up in Korea, and writes in three languages. I am grateful for every opportunity to learn, which negates that saying about not being able to teach old dogs new tricks.
