These big birds that glide in the sky playing with the currents in the air fascinate me. My favorite eagle is the Fish Eagle - when we visit the Kruger National park, I simply must see a Fish Eagle with its beautiful white feathered breast perched on the highest branch of a tree, and always fairly close to water - I love this write and have faved it. Best wishes for the contest. Blessings and hugs Jennifer.

I don't think I have seen a fish eagle...we have bald eagles here, they didn't use to be around these parts nor did all these hawks but anymore anytime you look to the sky or trees you see the birds of prey

Thank you so much Jan...i love watching them and the hawks on windy days... they appear to be having so much fun just gliding in the wind, but as much as i admire them, i fear them the same...i have had them come down at me and my dogs before...i always have my eyes to the skies now :) hugs

Thank you so much Gordon, it is to an extent...when you worry about your pets next to you on a leash as they come down from the sky, it's a different feeling :) hugs

I see eagle's dashing move.. descending--in your splendid imagery, Sandy. You have the gift of saying much in few words.

I can't say that is a lovely picture, but it is real - it is nature.

we have eagles living around here...i often spot them over the river watching...i have seen them catch prey... watched a cat narrowly escape a hawk's talons too... it is nature for sure... hugs
