Dudley Do Wrong

Please forget me. Please move on. Don't remember me when you've gone. Loose my number. Loose my Address. You walked her way you know the rest. Now you are gone and I am free. Now a better life I'll see. Please don't come back for me. You are now something I don't need. You are yesterday's news and tomorrow's trash. Thank the dear Lord I don't live in the past. This is just a poem about things that happend years ago in the past.

Very cute title and it flows along nicely. He is no longer a cuddly Dudley LOL

The funny part was it was supposed to be my fault because I wouldn't stay home and wait for him to find the time to take me anywhere or keep me company at home. I went to church groups and joined craft clubs for women. I would have missed going to any meeting if he had asked for my time to do something together. Definitely no longer a cuddly Dudley . Thanks for the kind review. Huggs TLee

I think most of us have walked through that briar patch Terry, it's maybe why we relate so well to these tear jerkers. Moving on is good for the soul.

Thanks Ell that is what I aim for when I write. It is my aim to hit the heart or awaken some forgotten memory. Huggs TLee

I dug this one out of the closet from 40 years ago. I imagine at the time I was very bitter. People have a tendancy to be that way at first but it fades with time for most of us. Evidently I didn't let it stop me from moving forward. Thanks and huggs TLee

Thanks Pace but this was from years ago. A partner from long ago, another place, another time. Thanks for the concern. Glad you liked the poem. Huggs TLee
