Drums of Yesterday

We once saw the moon We have always wished for the stars Viewed faraway lands tuned up/ machines while connecting far and wide but today we now string and croon from the moon waving to our neighbours the twinkling stars marching over mars Toppled mountains Even reining the roaring waves but alas why then With all our conquest We are still beating The drums of yesterday
