Drenched

Oh summer trees of green under summer hazy heat I lay still in the hammock listening to sounds of nature a shaft of light was cast through dense leaves a cool breeze rocked me into a serene light sleep awakened by a loud crack my restful mind confused to late the heaven's poured drenched became my fate.

Hi Jan yes you get plenty of rain for sure. There have been a few big down pours this summer but no flooding. It has been hot and dry so the rain is welcome. love phyl
