Dream Land
I step onto the sidewalk, life is growing, here, and there.
I tip my hat towards the sun, that's sprinkled sunshine, everywhere.
I place my glasses on my face, and walk a walk I've walked before.
Memories flood into my head, of someone who I once adored.
I think of him, my love; sweet love. I take a step into dream-land.
I think of when we first had kissed, I think of when he held my hand.
I remember how he turned away, because his love was much too slight.
So then my memories fade away, and my pretty sunshine turns to night...
