Down Where the Silkies Swim
Where the sea runs free and rushes in,
where seaweed fronds swirl and flail,
down in the deeps amongst the starfish way,
thats where its said where the silkies dwell.
Amongst the dolphins laughing at play,
with silvery shoals of fishes there,
swimming free without restraint,
thats where the silkies dwell.
Walking on land lying on sand,
sunning themselves on sea washed rocks,
hand in hand in lovers embrace,
down by the sea where the silkies dwell.
