René Descartes Quote: "Doubt is the origin of wisdom." (12 wallpapers ...

What will become of doubt within? Will it become a loss or win? How does it grow or diminish? How will it look at the finish? Your thoughts may be in disarray, A constant hindrance day by day. Doubt at its worst to be complete, Must break your will and hope deplete. Or if by chance, you change your mind, Break its spell then hope you may find. Once a doubt has become distilled. You’ll find your confidence will build. For as you know, it’s all inside. It’s up to you … you must decide.

Another excellent sonnet dear bill, a poignant exploration of the human condition, offering both introspection and inspiration. It encourages readers to confront their doubts with courage and determination, knowing that within the struggle lies the potential for growth and self-discovery

I wish more could see what you see in some of my poetry, Silent One, but on second thought ... the ones that get it are the ones that are supposed to get it. Sometimes I think your comments support my message as much as my poetry. Thank you for the help, my friend. Bill

I see the "Sonnet Meister" has been creative and busy today. I found your initial questions thought-provoking but not rhetorical. You're right. Doubt will break one's will and deplete hope. We've seen that and lived that. The last two lines left the reader with positives...the choice is truly ours. Well done!! hugs, Sara

A marvellous write, Bill. Doubt is a far more restrictive shackle than anything man may cast out of iron, for iron can shackle your body but doubt can shackle your soul. Sheesh… I should write one of those inspirational wall plaque thingies ;-).

I agree Terry, that's some good thinking you're doing there. Write it down, my friend. Bill
