Don'T Fear My Eyes

Waiting never was my strength you know And yet you thought somehow I would be here still. There is no solace in your apathy There is no peace in your cruelty Although I know I felt the pain that way. With long fingers reaching around my neck You laid me down and I looked up to you. When we talked amongst each other You were not strong enough to take so much away. But now you tower And now you loom And how I fear your touch And how you fear my eyes.
